The first book discussion in the Good Jobs, Good Work series is Rediscovering Values: On Wall Street, Main Street, and Your Street by Jim Wallis. Wallis argues that our current financial crisis is also a moral crisis, and that people need "good work" as well and "good jobs."  When: Sept 9th @ 4pm

The Friends of the Library in Chatham have had such success with book sales lately that they will begin a new event - Second Saturday Sales.

When : Saturday, September 11th from 9am until 1pm Where: Chatham Depot Annex [formerly the Ennis Building], 330 Whitehead Court. There is plenty of parking between the depot and the annex. |
